I like to think that just about all of us can say, if I were the President, I would have been there to see the fallen soldiers remains re-patriated. To my hazy recollection they are among the first United States armed forces personnel to give their lives in the line of duty in our President's second term. That is a sacrifice which demands our honor. I am going to at least say their names, when released.

Instead, they gave their lives for this country, and our President went golfing.

I have mentioned this once upon a time, I'll say it again.

Back when I worked on the Navy base the defense contractor, we had those ------ motivational posters in the office, a sign of the times. You know the ones I'm talking about, people have been memeing on them for years.

But the one that got me was the AV-8B hovering in front of the Washington Monument and the flags all around with the caption

The Price Of Freedom Is Eternal Vigilance
