OK, I have to ask, is the anti-American sentiment blossoming of late, much like the anti-Tesla sentiment?

And what are the long term ramifications of such an anti-American sentiment?

Anti-American sentiment? You mean like those African countries that are no longer getting millions for foot bunion prevention studies? Oh the horror.

So the question that should be asked of Reich, if something needed to be done to equal trade like Pelosi, Schumer and Booker have been telling us for years than at least 90 countries have come hear agreeing to lower their tarrifs, how is that not a good thing? And if you have to spend an extra dollar for a pair of $2 Chinese flip flops that last a week, too bad. You can spend $4 and buy an American made pair that last longer and weren't made by 10 year olds.

"And if you have to spend an extra dollar for a pair of $2 Chinese flip flops that last a week, too bad"

You don't know how much a 125% tariff is, do you?

For your math to work out, flip flops went from $1.60 to 3.60.

My bad, it's a 145% tariff on China.

So the $2 flip flops cost $4.90 now.

And you're happy to pay nearly $3 in taxes for $2 flip flops.
