You would have to be economically illiterate to think otherwise.

UPS to cut 20,000 jobs on reduced Amazon deliveries, as US tariffs

April 29 (Reuters) - United Parcel Service on Tuesday said it would slash 20,000 jobs and shut 73 facilities as part of a planned reduction in deliveries for Amazon.com, and as U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs roil global trade.

A UPS (UPS.N) spokesman said the layoffs are due to shedding 50% of shipping volume from Amazon.com (AMZN.O), opens new tab, its largest customer, as well as ongoing cost-cutting and efficiency projects under a major operational restructuring.

I saw the UPS headline last night.

A harbinger of what's to come, which means we haven't seen anything yet.

I asked my wife last night if there was anything else she thought we should buy before it becomes scarce. Seems like a good question to be asking right now regardless of what misinterpreted nonsense S*&^tS posts.

Congratulations, MRGA losers! You destroyed the country in under 100 days.

We won't be recovering from most of this, and it's 100% ON YOU.

Regarding one must have: I checked and found out most toilet and paper towels are sourced and manufactured here in the U.S.

We'll be paying more for brands that source and/or manufacture elsewhere. Some are made from pulp sourced elsewhere, meaning tariffs will add to the cost.
