The Trump administration has dismissed all the scientists and other authors working on the next authoritative look at how climate change is affecting the United States, according to an email sent to authors Monday and confirmed by CNN.
The authors of the #NCA6, a congressionally mandated climate report, were all dismissed from their volunteer roles in what was a "gut-wrenching" and "disempowering" move.
The report isn't technically cancelled, but its future is highly uncertain.
