More from the poll:

... Nearly 80% of respondents to a poll by Nanos Research Group for Bloomberg News agreed with the statement: "The old relationship we had with the United States, based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperation, is over." ...

The survey suggests that Carney, who rode a wave of anti-Trump sentiment to win the April 28 election, will get strong support for his plans to deepen alliances in Europe and Asia and bolster domestic activity to reduce Canada's reliance on the US. Decoupling from the US is nearly impossible, however -- about three-quarters of Canada's exports head to its southern neighbor. ...

Three-quarters of Canadians now say they're less likely to purchase US-made goods, the survey showed. That's a 10 percentage-point jump from December, before US tariffs were imposed on Canadian products. That may help explain a decline in Canada's imports from the US in March, a period where inbound shipments from other countries were up. ...

Problem is, even after he's rotting on history's garbage heap ...
Nobody in their right mind will ever again trust the American electorate.

This fool thinks the only thing we got out of our alliance with canada was comedians.

Why is your cult leader isolating us from our allies and embracing fascist dictators around the world?

Canada is nothing but a fly over state for the Russians.

I will be flying my little plane up to Calgary/Whistler area later this summer, should be interesting.

That's a complete disservice to Hagbard Celine!

Howard Crane wasn't Canadian.

Damn straight it is over. Canadian exports to the US account for 20% of their GDP - US exports to Canada about 1.8% of our GDP. The days of them freeloading on the US is over. Over the coming years, maybe Alberta will split off and become our 51st state. At that point, I imagine Quebec will finally break away. The remaining Canada can stay together and have ~50% of the population Chinese and Indian.

Why do we continue to see ever more TDS afflicted leftist and anti-liberals and America haters doing what they always do which is to recklessly destroy family and country and neighborhood cohesiveness.

Why are so many homely purple haired leftist women with an arm pit full of hair and beating a protest drum always at the hate forefront? What is wrong with these people? Learn to accept and be tolerant of others.

Why are you always on the couch or the toilet?

And I think a majority of American voters see America as being in a permanent fight with fascism, where every other election or so, a Trump will arise to champion hate and behind the scenes be all about turning the lives of the rich into the new inherited nobility in America. Great wealth sooner or later sees itself as deserving of owning the politicians and the courts...

Yet just yesterday I saw an Ontario license plate driving around Florida in a Tesla. When are these boycotts happening again?
