The US stock market on Friday hit an all-time high, its first since mid-February. It marked the culmination of a remarkable recovery on Wall Street since the S&P 500 was flirting with bear market territory in early April.

The S&P 500 gained 0.5%, to close at a record 6,173.07. It marked the first new record high since February 19.

Stock market's doing well for the moment (emphasize "moment") and MAGA, Trump, and Boaz want millions to starve in Afghanistan to starve to death. In regards to the kids, this may involve a record number of very late-term abortions.

you're slacking from your leftist duties..I heard Pocahontas and the senator from NY AND a dem congresswoman all say just yesterday that trump had started a war with Iran....
--and of course the crowd did their obligatory boo....of ignorance and blind compliance.
--in the comments section I asked 15 posters the same question and got zero answers...." what war?"

@#4 ... THE POTUS has nothing to do with the market. ...

Pres Trump's tariff policies had a definitive effect upon the markets, e.g., early April when the S&P500 was under 5000.

Now that he has been backing down on his more extreme tariff policies, the markets have recovered to the point around where the markets were when he was inaugurated. Indeed, I posted a comment about the recent strength of the markets a few days ago.
