Trump (Again) says Farms, Hospitality Industry Get Pass on Migrant Workers

President Trump said that there will be a temporary pass issued for migrants working at farms and in the hospitality industry to allow employers to have more control after the administration sent mixed messages about exceptions in its mass deportation efforts.

More

Trump, in private, is clearly wrestling with the political realities of long-time workers who paid taxes and committed no crimes (after coming here illegally) getting deported by the millions.

So, Pres Trump reverses ... again?

What's the reason this time?

So, these violent criminals are okay because... they have jobs?

Calm, steady hand on the rudder.

The best advice is don't believe anything Trump says. He's a notorious pathological liar who has proven himself, repeatedly, to be a money-grubbing welcher whenever it profits him and screws the other guy. And he does so with antisocial abandonment without conscious or regret.

At Trump's age and impotence, it's how he gets his jollies.

Bingo.

Trump says exactly what he thinks benefits him at any given moment and----

More often than not he says things just to jerk someone's chain---

Either by threatening them or giving them "hope".

ZED

I would never believe a word Trump says ~~ even less if he stood on a stack of bibles.

Remember the 2004 election, when Republicans thought John Kerry's flip-flops were the ultimate sin? Many of us were right here on this site arguing about it.

Great times!

This is nothing new.

He has always been one to promise everything to everyone depending on who is in the room.

The next day he will backtrack and take it away.

Just like the tariffs.

This chaotic unstable leadership undercuts everything and injects uncertainty where it is not needed.

I have several Canadian companies that were eager to invest in the US in response to the tariffs, but the up one day, down the next uncertainty has caused them to abandon the US and instead start cultivating relationships in Europe and Asia for their products.

His erratic tendencies are his worst enemy.
