Largest healthcare fraud Ever

The Justice Department on Monday announced charges for 324 people, including nearly 100 medical professionals, in what the DOJ called the largest healthcare fraud takedown in U.S. history. The $14.6 billion crackdown spanned all 50 states and included charges ranging from opioid trafficking and telemedicine fraud to transnational identity theft schemes. Of the total charged, 77 defendants were prosecuted by state attorneys general, while the remaining 247 face federal charges. Authorities said they seized over $245 million in cash, luxury vehicles, cryptocurrency, and other assets.

Future MAGA politicians. I hear Rick Scott calling!

Will Trump pardon them like he has other healthcare fraudsters?

A couple of doctors in my area were charged in this sweep.

Good.

Lock em up.

They're saying they will lose their medical licenses. Hardly. They will plea it down to a suspension for a nominal period of time and a fine.

Will Trump pardon them like he has other healthcare fraudsters?

Depends. Can they do something for him like buy his crypto scam or buy a pardon like the Chrissley's did from him?

He is the most corrupt president in history.

What an odd headline. This is really a collection of various crimes from various jurisdictions. Not one scheme.

I am laughing at Bondi taking all the credit and lumping a bunch of cases together. These investigation did not start since January... Just saying.

"Among the major alleged schemes was a transnational criminal ring accused of submitting $10.6 billion in fraudulent Medicare claims using the stolen identities of over 1 million U.S. residents." So most of it was that you had an international crime ring committing Identity fraud and submitting false claims. They are accused of submitting that much in claims - how much was actually paid?
