DHS Removes Age Limit for ICE Agents

"US DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will waive age limits for new applicants so even more patriots will qualify to join ICE in its mission to arrest murderers, pedophiles, gang members, rapists, and other criminal illegal aliens from America's streets. All ICE law enforcement recruits will be required to go through medical screening, drug screening, and complete a physical fitness test.

  • "We are ENDING the age cap for ICE law enforcement," said Secretary Noem. "Qualified candidates can now apply with no age limit. JOIN.ICE.GOV."
  • Backed by significant new funding through the recently signed One Big Beautiful Bill, ICE is offering a robust package of federal law enforcement incentives."
  • In less than one week since DHS launched its recruitment campaign, more than 80,000 Americans applied to join ICE. How many are 6 Jan 2021 insurrectionists, Oath Keepers, or Proud Boys is not known.

    In the USG, the age limit for most Hazardous Duty/LEAP careers (e.g. FBI or DEA) is 37 with a mandatory retirement at age 57. This massive recruitment scheme waiving this restriction will attract not only semi-qualified older racists who are retired, but unqualified racist gun nuts eager to become federal agents in order to have full firearm carry privileges in the US. How a recruit in his 50s or 60s will pass FLETC remains to be seen, unless those standards are waived. This will create a dangerous army of armed MAGA Sturmabteilung (Brownshirts) for Dummkopf Trumpf just ahead of FIFA in 2026 and the LA Olympics in 2028. No good will come of this.

    I repeat. The masks on the ICE agents aren't to protect them from doxing, attacks, etc. It is so that they can't be identified to be held accountable for their misdeeds. Furthermore, the masks prevents them from being outed as the low lifes that many of them will be i.e. racists, neo Nazis, disgraced cops, etc.

    This hiring spree will be an opportunity to give a lot of MAGAts jobs.

    Hmm. So implement tariffs to crash the economy and put hundreds of thousands federal workers and vets out of work and then offer them above market value benefits and salaries and even bonuses to do your dirty work.

    A couple of questions ...

    1) If it seems to be so easy to remove the age cap and still get qualified candidates, why was there an age cap in the first place?

    2) Is ICE having so much difficulty attracting candidates that ICE now needs to widen the audience of potential candidates?

    I suspect they are having difficulty hiring. The sign on bonuses will help recruitment considerably. It will be full employment for MAGAts. Any MAGAt that wants a job will have a job.

    Trump can't turn the military on the American people because of law and their lack of will to do so. But he can unleash an army of MAGAt ICE agents on the American people. And, when the people revolt, he has an excuse to use the military.
