Ukraine Intelligence Update 8 Sep 2025

Ukrainian intelligence (HUR) reported the following:

  • Russia has called up ~280,000 military personnel under contract since the start of the year and is on track to achieve its recruitment goals. The Kremlin aimed to enlist 343,000 people in 2025 and exceeded its monthly recruitment targets.
  • Ukrainian counterintelligence detained fugitive lawmaker Fedir Khrystenko (41). The suspect was recruited by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) long before the outbreak of the full-scale war in 2022 and actively cooperated with Russian intelligence. This quisling was charged with High Treason and the circumstances of his capture was not disclosed.
  • Russia has the capacity to produce 2,700 Shahed-type "kamikaze" drones monthly. Moreover, Russia will have manufactured ~2,500 high-precision cruise, ballistic, and hypersonic missiles in 2025. 57 combat aircraft (Su-57, Su-35, Su-34, and Su-30) will also be produced by the end of the year.

  • More

Ukrainian intelligence services are top-notch. Russia has lost 1,089,060 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale brutal invasion on 24 Feb 2022, including 910 casualties over the past 24 hours. Former Republican VPOTUS Mike Pence stated that Russia would "cross a NATO country's border if it wins in Ukraine." Many Western analysts determined that Putin's next targets will be the Baltic Countries: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The Kremlin is taking advantage of Dummkopf Trumpf who is buying time for Russia's army to attrit and demoralize the Ukrainian people and military with winter soon approaching. An international arrest warrant issued by the ICC for war crimes remains active for Vladimir Putin. An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Since getting sent to the Ukrainian Front is a near-death sentence, I wonder what threats are being used to motivate this?

Ukrainian intelligence (HUR) embarrassed Vladimir Putin again under his very nose. During the night HUR operatives plastered posters of their organization's symbol on trees and light poles throughout Moscow. Russians woke up to signs that read "Responsibility is Inevitable": s.yimg.com

HUR accomplished this neat trick to honor the anniversary of their founding. This is why the owl is the HUR symbol.
