Tired of Migrants? Just push them back.

A group of tourists were spotted trying to push back a boat full of migrants after it attempted to land on a Greek beach. Footage posted on social media showed beachgoers pushing the boat away on the Sarakiniko beach in the southern island of Gavdos. The tourists got into the water and tried to shove the boat away from the shore before it could touch down. Local media reports the migrants, reportedly from Libya were told not to disembark on the beach and were redirected back towards the port.

Tired of right-wing assholes taking your Constitutional rights away?

JUST PUSH THEM BACK

"He taught that caring for a stranger is equivalent to caring for Him, as found in Matthew 25:35:

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in".

He emphasized that whatever good deeds are done for "the least of these," are done for Him, making hospitality and welcoming the foreigner a demonstration of faith and a path to the Kingdom of Heaven."

Great Corky,

Now do Leviticus 18:22!

#4 | Posted by boaz at 2025-09-16 04:27 PM

Boaz is a busybody. He cares who other consenting adults sleep with. Get a life!

#5 | Posted by Alexandrite at 2025-09-16 04:35 PM

You do 2 Kings 2:23-24.

Explain that one to me.

#6 | Posted by Alexandrite at 2025-09-16 04:43 PM

Jesus fulfilled the law. Old testament shit don't mean a thing, you fucking idiot

#7 | Posted by LegallyYourDead at 2025-09-16 05:22 PM

Are Greeks religious? Why are we quoting scripture when we don't care about religion?

Which brings up a question I have IF Islam is derived from Christianity, which is derived from Judaism, why isn't everyone Muslim?

Why are some people stuck in the old religions.

But since we are playing and it's easy to on the web.

Corky throws down -> Matthew 25:35

I raise you - > Romans 13:1

You can still be nice to the illegal immigrants and kick them out, these aren't mutually exclusive.

You do 2 Kings 2:23-24.
Explain that one to me.

Simple, a large group of young men were ridiculing Elisha, which was to ridicule the Lord himself; The young men were dealt with.

- Leviticus 18:22!

Apparently Major B lives in the Old Testament Laws which JC fulfilled.

Also apparently he has no argument to the point I made about the biblical position on immigrants, but rather a lame, irrelevant Whataboutism.

Try again, Major.

- Romans 13:1

Is about being subject to current authority, not being forced to accept it's actions as biblical behavior.

Those ESL grades are not getting any better, Wing Wong.

idk looking at Leviticus, do you sleep with your mother? Sister? A women with her period? Animals?

Why would you only accept violating one of those tenets? I mean if you're going to use the Bible for your moral/ethics guide, why would you accept violating just this one principle?

Leviticus, it would appear, is an evolutionary guide for generational gene transfer.

I mean if you're going to use the Bible for your moral/ethics guide

That's your first mistake.

So God killed 42 kids for calling a guy bald?

Ridiculous.

Yes, the current authority at the time Rome. In America is American law and authority.

Islam has the same idea as Christianity, the idea of obeying the laws of the nation you are in, much like Druze of Israel.

This was used so the religion could grow within a country and not appear to be rebelling or a traitor; otherwise it wouldn't last.

Well see you're a literalist, which is why you're an idiot.

- Leviticus

Is the Law, which JC fulfilled, and has nothing to do with Christianity.

He said that if you make yourself subject to any of the Law, you are subject to all of it

Perhaps you should stick to Mao's Little Red Book.

I don't believe the story. A lot of people do. It's a ridiculous story either way.

Please don't ever agree with me on anything, Oneironut. You're a dumb fuck.

You are like a Professional Point Misser.. hopefully it's intentional.

Nothing in that post contradicts, "... not being forced to accept it's actions as biblical behavior.", whether that be ancient Rome or the modern US.

#18 | Posted by Corky at 2025-09-16 05:38 PM

So basically Corky what you are saying,

Gays can do all the fornicating they want and when they die, hope Christ will take away their sin? All while continuing to sin?

You do know that's now how it works, right?

No, Major, I'm saying what Paul said, mind your own damn business.

He had just finished describing all the sexual practices that the new Church in Rome was witnessing there, told them they shouldn't participate, and then said, therefore:

Romans 2 1 "You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things."

There's no one who doesn't sin (miss the mark of perfection) in one way or another.

You may be a gluttonous, drunken toe sniffer, or some other kind of sinner; all of it is basically the same in that it's imperfect; it's all sin to God.

" looking at Leviticus, do you ... "

Get your hair cut?

Wear poly-cotton shirts?

Consume shrimp or lobster?

If so, The Big Guy wants to see you.

#21 | Posted by Danforth at 2025-09-16 06:07 PM

I mean, according to Leviticus, being gay is as bad as ...

... having an order of moules and frittes.
