They should also sue the demented orange pedo who cut staffing at NOAA and the NWS.

Might as well sue the parents for negligence for sending their kids into a flood zone. If the area is known to be flood prone, the parents weren't diligent in protecting their kids. Why didn't the parents prepare their kids with life vests, and made sure they had an escape plan.

The people in charge that received the emergency notifications and decided to wait and see what would happen instead of evacuating the kids?

The county council or whatever is on record refusing to spend millions of dollars already appropriated by the Biden Administration to build an alert system for exactly this event.

They could have had a siren and they chose not to.

Instead, they have your ------ ass "alert system" that isn't automated and relies in people playing Telephone Tag in the middle of the night to raise the alarm.
