The United States has seen a dramatic increase in violence against journalists since Donald Trump again took office.

2025 was one of the most difficult years for press freedom in the U.S. Journalists faced escalating harassment, censorship, legal threats, and violence -- and FPF was there to support them. Check out a snapshot of what we accomplished in 2025:
