James Talarico defeated Dallas-based US Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett in the Democratic Senate primary. While neither Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton or US Senator John Cornyn reached 50 percent of the vote so the two will face each other in May to determine will represent Republicans in the Texas Senate race in the November general election.
