The U.S. military said on Monday that Kuwait "mistakenly shot down" thee American F-15E Strike Eagles during a combat mission as Iran attacked the country.

We committed only 150,000, surging to 170,000. In Vietnam we needed over 800,000, but peaked at 543,000. The numbers we sent include logistics, not combat forces, so we tend to send 1/20th of what we needed to.

Which means... 1 maxed out division for Tehran, or 2 regular divisions.
