The Height of Close-Combat Weaponry Is on Her Doorstep

In pursuit of illegal immigrants, federal agents are carrying the instruments of war, fine-tuned and perfected for killing at short range.

This tries a little too hard.

Most of what is shown on those weapons is easily found at any store or on any AR in the hands of a tacticool neckbeard at a random range.

Suppressors aren't that uncommon (even though they're not terribly useful for 5.56, so those may not even be 5.56 caliber weapons...).

M Lok rails are absolutely normal. I have three AR-style weapons with M Lok free floating rails as they're standard on most current gen AR models.

Flared mag well? Meh.

Pouches? Meh.

The lasers are the cherry on the goober cake, though. These idiots aren't conducting night raids, will probably never conduct night raids and I'm 99% certain they're not trained for night operations as they're not even trained for day operations. They're just a bunch of hick dorks with too much money to spend now that Uncle Sam is partaking in massive fraud, waste and abuse with this absurd DHS budget.

Defense contractors have done superbly for themselves with the sinister Trumpf junta.

And what we don't see?

The hi-tech Israeli spyware in the ICE vans conducting warrantless surveillance on all of us.

Thank you hardworking American taxpayer, you have funded the engine of our oppression while making others fabulously wealthy.

And getting innocent people killed along the way.

Yeah it's fairly common gear for the gun nut crowd but I think the more important point is our police should not be showing up to do routine work armed like soldiers.

Only suppressors and IR lasers would be common in "gun nut crowd" only.

I don't disagree with the rest. Militarization of police is a huge problem and has been for decades.

It's a surplus SOPMOD kit. AN/PEQ-2 Infrared Target Pointer/Aiming Light. The beam isn't visible with NODs.

Nobody there has NODs on...
