Trump's 2027 budget proposal cuts non-defense spending by 10% while raising military spending by $445 billion or 42% to $1.5 trillion a year.
They say that "if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."
I suggest that we put that to the test! Cut all non-defense spending to zero, putting all of it into defense. Then maybe triple that with deficit spending. Check back in 10 years and see if there are still any nails left in the world in need of hammering.
