They say that "if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."
I suggest that we put that to the test! Cut all non-defense spending to zero, putting all of it into defense. Then maybe triple that with deficit spending. Check back in 10 years and see if there are still any nails left in the world in need of hammering.
Just my modest proposal. Thank you for your time.
