Bogus “Medical Reason” for Barron Trump Not Serving

Outraged Americans are demanding that members of the Trump family face conscription if a comprehensive military draft is enacted during wartime. However, the 19 year old may be exempt from military service due to a medical waiver.

A medical exemption due to military standards could render the young Trump unfit for military service.

Barron stands at an impressive 6'7" tall, which may disqualify him from Army service, especially for certain roles requiring confined spaces such as armored vehicles, tanks, or aircraft. Typically, maximum height restrictions (for example, 80 inches/6'8" in the U.S. Army) are enforced to ensure safety and proper equipment compatibility.

If Barron were to receive a medical exemption, he wouldn't be the first in his family to avoid military service.

So silly. Some Americans hyperventilating about a non-existent draft that absolutely no one is suggesting.

We've settled decades ago that an all-volunteer force is far more effective and preferred, with a draft used only when we have no other options left on the table.

I wasn't suggesting a draft. I was suggesting height would be no bar to Barron shattering Trump family tradition by enlisting in the military; in this case, for a "maneuver" started by his dad and for which the old boy is happy to honor its dead by wearing his best baseball cap for a bodies transfer ceremony.

One of the best parts of being a billionaire is sending poor people's children to die in wars to make you richer. Trump still has a 40+% approval, so we have no shortage of suckers and losers to embiggen him financially.

It cuts both ways.

Why would you not want your leaders sons or daughters to be involved in a war?

A significant concern is that if a leaders child were in combat, it would compromise the leader's ability to focus solely on the country's needs, as they would be preoccupied with their child's safety. The leader would avoid war when it is necessary.

What I find interesting is America is a Democratic/Republic, the President in all cases of sending troops in harms way, should have to at least be clear with the American people about why we are going, present the case. Let the debate happen at least in the public sphere.

All too often it feels like Congress abdicated its authority, then complains about the executive branch acting independently.

Its all a grift.
