Pete Hegseth 'Not Speaking Truth To The President'

"Pete is not speaking truth to the president," one administration official said. "As a result, the president is out there repeating misleading information."

Comments

Well, first off: Trump exhibits no interest in exposure to the truth. He seems to practically waddle-run from it in a panic, like a cockroach from a light but somewhat slower.

And then there's the matter of the people with whom he has freely decided to surround himself: suckups and fluckups totally beholden to him who he bills as "the best." That they can actually deliver those quiveringly Norkish declarations of fealty to him at cabinet meetings - and he can sit there smugly taking their ritualistic displays of humiliation in - says a lot about the state this country is in.

"Norkish declarations of fealty to him at cabinet meetings"

This.

The guy saw Kim, and thought, "That's what I want."

And by "that", I mean adoration, combined with servitude.

He tried to tell him, but he kept slurring his words

Letting reality creep into your briefings is the surest way to get fired and he knows it.
He likes all the power and perks of his gig. Fox won't give him a private plane.

... Pete Hegseth 'Not Speaking Truth To The President' ...

Have you watched the live broadcasts of the Cabinet meetings?

Pres Trump's Cabinet seems to be focused upon the goal of unfettered adulation and praise of their Leader.

Pres Trump's Cabinet, in their own words, appear to be focused upon serving their Leader, and not the Constitution or the people of the United States.

"I love working for President Trump. It's the greatest honor of a lifetime. And if President Trump... chooses to nominate somebody else and asks me to go do something else, I'll say, 'Thank you very much. I love you, sir.'"

Trump's Chief of Staff, Susan Wiles, may have the last word on Pickled Pete.

She was advising Trump against listening to those pounding the drumbeats for war.

Hegseth and Stephen Miller and Netanyahu blew hot air up Trump's plenteous derriere and here we are ...

Trump could have made them watch endless hours of Kim Jung Un's cabinet meetings followed by snuff films of anyone in Kim's cabinet who didn't use the opportunity to praise him.
