I remember going out for tacos at 2 am back in the day.

He was always a super nice guy. RIP

"I'm not a rock star, let's put it that way. I never wanted to be. I just wanted to write great music, make some money and have fun. And when I was younger, meet girls."

He was a down to earth guy. Not a hint of pretension.

I believe that. I knew some musicians like that, zero ego but plenty of talent.

Dave Mason was the same age as Dummkopf Trumpf.

Where's the justice?

@#3 ... He was a down to earth guy. Not a hint of pretension. ...

A DJ on the station I listen to knew Mr Mason back in the early 70's (the DJ was big in the NYC music scene back then).

In his tribute, the DJ said a similar thing about Mr Mason, that Mr Mason was all about the music and little about himself.

"We Disagree" is complete crap. I'll take "Feelin' Alright".

@#8

Yeah, We can just disagree about each individual song.

But, overall, I'd proffer that Mr Mason has made a great contribution to music.

Do you disagree with that?

"Where's the justice?"

Would the world really be any different without a Supreme Being ruling the universe? It does not seem so.

Or is it just the belief and hope and dream of a better world (after this one?) that sustains the religious? It's just so very odd to me as I don't appear to need any of that to be able to accept that death is inevitable and a necessary part of life.

The last part.

Memento Mori.
