CNN: The DOJ has launched a new criminal investigation into one of Trump's enemies, E. Jean Carroll. The source is telling CNN that the investigation now is focused on whether she committed perjury during her two civil lawsuits against the president.

Manipulating wars and tariffs and taxes for his personal gain, $6 plus billion and counting, should get him even more convictions, not less.

Every person prosecuted by the DOJ should have a clear path to claim that. the DOJ .is just a partisan hit squad then any defendant should be able to claim they were politically targeted; it would be pretty difficult for the DOJ prosecutors to prove otherwise.
