Three people were shot and killed in a parking lot outside a driver's licensing office in Louisville, KY. A male victim died at the scene while two female victims died at a hospital. No suspect is in custody. According to the police, "there does not seem to be a public threat." Only in the US can a police officer say that with a murderer on the loose.

America suffers warzone casualties every year without a foreign invader. Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell has been a fierce opponent of gun restrictions throughout his 35-year Senate career and has reaped the benefits of a close relationship with the National Rifle Association who gave him an A+ rating. I hope he never catches a bullet when he returns to Kentucky after he retires.
