Zelenskyy stresses need to discuss ceasefire with US
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that his country is willing to proceed with discussions with the United States, stressing the importance of managing the ceasefire in order to maintain it.

The two officials wrapped up a high-level conference with the US on Tuesday. Referring to the 30-day ceasefire proposed by the US, Zelenskyy wrote: "Ukraine was ready for an air and sea ceasefire, but the US proposed extending it to land. Ukraine welcomes this proposal." He then stated, "The control of such a ceasefire remains an important issue, and we appreciate the United States' willingness to organize the technical aspects of such control." Zelenskyy also criticized Russia, saying that the Moscow "seeks to prolong the war and postpone peace for as long as possible."
