Three children have died in Connecticut after overdosing on diphenhydramine, commonly sold as Benadryl. Their deaths have renewed warnings about a social media challenge encouraging kids to take dangerous amounts of the over-the-counter allergy medicine. When misused, diphenhydramine can lead to serious heart problems, seizures, coma or death.
