Kentucky Republican US Senator Mitch McConnell (84), who proudly confirmed Markwayne Mullin to be S/DHS, has been hospitalized since 14 June at an undisclosed location over an unspecified illness and has therefore been unable to vote on senate matters in his last year before he finally retires later this year.
