The FBI arrested Mario Israel Barraza (18) for killing one Navajo Nation male teenager and seriously wounding a female teenager in Church Rock, NM. Investigators found evidence of forced entry through the victim's window. Barraza and the deceased were arguing prior to the shooting and that Barraza had a history of entering the girl's bedroom through her window. In an average year, 507 people die and 821 are wounded by guns in New Mexico which has the 9th-highest rate of gun violence in the US. A criminal complaint is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
