Connecticut Legislators Keep Elections Watchdog Independent
Facing a potential veto from Gov. Ned Lamont, the General Assembly agreed Wednesday to delete a portion of a bipartisan bill that would have ended a half century of independence by Connecticut's elections watchdog.
