The lack of universal healthcare in the US (unlike Canada, the UK, France, Israel, Germany, Australia etc) is probably the most effective weapon in the oligarch's arsenal keeping Americans poor, sick, divided, and in debt, because the masses outnumber the wealthy roughly 340,000,000 to one. As financial weapons, home and school loans come in second and third. Plus, the oligarchs keep wages low, fossilizing our perennial caste system. Meanwhile the superrich keep siphoning off America's wealth for themselves with tax schemes and off-shore banks.
