A former Columbo family mobster who was incarcerated in the same cell Epstein died in said there's no way to hang yourself in that cell. Nothing to tie a noose to. And that guards walked by every few minutes.

Ex-Mobster Who Shared Cell with Jeffrey Epstein Claims it's Almost Impossible' the Billionaire Took His Own Life

While talking to NewsNation, Franzese claimed that it was "almost impossible" that the sex offender took his own life. The mobster who once shared a jail cell with Epstein went on to explain how it'd be impossible to do given the structure of the cell.

"There's no way you are able to commit suicide. There's just no way. There's no way to hang yourself. There's nothing from the ceiling, there's nothing from the bed," Franzese explained. He noted how a person would have to be a "midget" or "work really hard to try to hang yourself." He concluded while pointing out that it would have been impossible for the billionaire to take his own life.

Lots of different sources have reported Franzese's comments.

Epstein files are so bad for Trump he's calling MAGA base 'weaklings.' Uh-oh. usatoday.com

We don't know what's in the Jeffrey Epstein files, but we now know it's so bad for President Donald Trump that he'll turn on his rabidly loyal MAGA base, mocking them as "stupid" and "weaklings," to keep it hidden.

As a longtime chronicler of Trump and his MAGA movement, allow me to say this: Wow. Whatever is in those Epstein files must be devastating for the president, because nurturing his base so he can continue separating them from their money has always been his primary objective, and labeling them foolish weaklings risks a schism.

...

Right-wing weirdo Laura Loomer is one of the MAGA activists closest to Trump, and she told Politico this July 16: "Obviously, this is not a complete hoax given the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in prison in Florida for her crimes and activities with Jeffrey Epstein, who we know is a convicted sexual predator. This is why I said, and I'll reiterate it again, the best thing that the president can do is appoint a special counsel to handle the Epstein files investigation."

I hate it when MAGA-mom and MAGA-dad fight. I hate it even more when I have to say this: Loomer is right.

One problem with Trump trying to brush Epstein off as a hoax is that Epstein associate Maxwell was, to quote a 2022 Justice Department press release, sentenced to "240 months in prison for her role in a scheme to sexual exploit and abuse multiple minor girls with Jeffrey Epstein over the course of a decade."

Pathologists:

Among the injuries found on Epstein during the autopsy are contusions on both wrists, an abrasion on his left forearm, and deep muscle hemorrhaging in his left shoulder muscle. Photos 60 Minutes reviewed also show an injury to the back of his neck, a cut on his lip, and an injection mark in his arm, though it is unknown whether the latter injuries happened during an attempt to resuscitate Epstein at the hospital.

Dr. Baden said small burst capillaries, known as petechiae, found on Epstein's face, mouth, and eyes are often an indication of strangulation. But it was injuries to Epstein's neck that make Dr. Baden call into question the official ruling of suicide.

Autopsy photos show fractures of the left and right thyroid cartilage, which sits at the front of the neck, and the left hyoid bone, a u-shaped bone that sits under the jaw and acts as an anchor for the tongue.

"I have never seen three fractures like this in a suicidal hanging," Dr. Baden tells Alfonsi on the broadcast. He added: "Going over a thousand jail hangings, suicides in the New York City state prisons over the past 40-50 years, no one had three fractures."
