One of Nashville's 100k watt FM stations, WLAC, had really interesting stuff and stories about local stuff, as you said.

Clear Channel (now iHeart) bought it and it became nonstop Limbaugh, Hannity, uber nut case Mark Levin, yuck yuck yuck.

Republicans killed campaign finance laws.

Democrats didn't fight for Citizen's United, or for dark money to stay dark, or weakening guardrails to prevent billionaires from buying elections through Super PACs.

Most members of Congress are significantly wealthier than the average American. In 2013, the "poorest" members still often had substantial assets, and the primary barrier is that working-class individuals rarely run for office in the first place.

As you know, that's the reason MTG is resigning ... after January 5th so she can collect a pension and lifetime medical care after only 5 years. Not exactly a principled resignation for her or anyone who waits to retire until they can cash in.
