Will we? I think that is THE question.

Doesn't matter to me. I'm not living my life based on what's next. My guiding principle is to do the best I can to leave this Earth a little better than I found it.

I had a conversation years ago with a "country as homemade soap" guy who felt he'd let his wife and kids down by not being the best version of himself He was really beating himself up with regret. I mentioned a book about NDEs that could perhaps provide some peace of mind ... or at least food for thought. That maybe we're all spiritual beings going through the Earthly experience. That life is the school where we make those mistakes.

He shared an anecdote:

"About two weeks ago, my sister had a baby girl, so I went over there to meet my new niece. At one point, we heard my three and a half year old nephew, over the crib monitor on the coffee table, walk up to the baby's crib in a back bedroom and say, "tell me about heaven again. I'm starting to forget."

CORRECTION: The more I've learned, the more I've acknowledged to myself how little I know ...

Yes.

But ...

Clinical death (cessation of heartbeat/breathing) is a reversible state, not final death, making it more accurate to view it as a critical, time-sensitive window before irreversible "biological death" occurs.

I believe we're all connected to the same energy source, like lightbulbs on the same circuit. Having educated myself quite well in the teachings of esoteric organizations (Rosicrucian, et), various religious philosophies, and books about subjects sort of related this thread, all I do is keep an open mind. The more I've learned, the more I've acknowledged to myself how little I don't know. I'm still a seeker.

What's next for us when we die? Who knows? There are lots of anecdotes and more opinions on consciousness and the afterlife. What I do know is that empathy and giving to others without expectation have been keys to a happy life.

Anything to distract from Trump raping children.

I can't tell you anything for sure. But small children with no knowledge of adult NDE accounts relayed the same experiences.

What sold me on the afterlife were the experiences of children who had NDEs, some as young as 4.

You don't have to be brain dead or go into a coma to have that experience.

We have some really good drugs available now that will give you the exact same experience.

Dr. Alexander is one of the most highly regarded neuroscientists/neurosurgeons in the country.

He explains in detail why there was no chemical or neurologically possible way his brain could have conjured up his experience.

I had the measles in 1st grade but never had the mumps. Something I DO not want to go through as an adult, which is a miserable experience for a man. Affects the ------- in BAD ways. Testes can grow to the size of grapefruit.

I read a interesting book on NDEs written by a Harvard neurosurgeon, previously an agnostic, who had one during a 7 day coma.

If people are buying the veterinary grade of any drug for personal use, that says a lot more about the state of the US health system than anything else. But again, people have throwing around the "horse paste" label regularly outside of that specific context.
