The mistake is you are thinking I am a "MAGAnite White Nationalist Christian"

I believe in nationalism but not because I'm a Christian.

I believe in Christianity but don't want to see the Bible be made into laws.

Certainly I can vote for someone because they are a Christian and someone running for office can openly profess his beliefs.

But...just can't make laws based on the the Bible. I might decide I like someone because he/she is a Christian. That's perfectly acceptable.

Actually, I've always believed mixing religion and politics, neither end up functioning well.

My point is that some people love the red-letter words that fit the liberal narrative but don't accept other red-letter words where Jesus says that He is the only...only path to God the Father.

My implication is all other Gods we claim to believe in are illusions.

Jesus simply said that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Sounds to me like Jesus is making a claim that anything or anyone else people worship as "god" isn't the same "God the Father" Jesus speaks of.

My interpretation?

We will be pulled, pressured, and tricked on this earth into worshiping other "gods" in many different ways but they are not Him.

Another trick will be people claiming "We're all worshipping the same God."

I see people on this site treat the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3"12) as especially significant because they're red-letter words and because they conveniently fit the narrative Democrats want and are the version of Christianity they are expecting.

I've known several Christian households. All the way to giving tracs instead of candy on Halloween, or parents who believe video games are evil and wouldn't let their children play them, all the way to God is love. They believe in the Spirit of Jesus but not really the significance of repentance and salvation.

Another family I knew elevated the Bible and literally put it on a pedestal and worshipped around it. Oddly, it felt like idol worship the way it was propped up.

And I've known families that believe in repentance and being saved. Each person has their own walk with Christ. Not a lot of judging among each other. Parents assumed a role in educating and providing support.

So you know how "religious households" work.

I've said before all Christians are hypocrites. We believe in higher ideals and goals we can't achieve.

Yes...the lying offends us personally. We get tired of being who we are and want to be more pleasing to God but we are mortal men.

Thankfully, we have Jesus to fall back on and be reassured His forgiveness will not falter.

I've been angry, wrestling with God, and fighting Him for decades. And He's still forgiven me.

Honestly, I'm more worried about the day I stop wrestling altogether, because indifference would be worse than anger.

If you look at the Bible as a whole, I believe the takeaway is that God will use anything for His purposes and that God is in control.

While God doesn't approve of evil, He can use your hatred for good within His plan.

Keep in mind God the Father used the hatred of the Jewish religious leaders to see Jesus betrayed, arrested, tortured and killed, all within in God's plan.

I've never heard him claim to be a Christian but I don't pay attention to everything he says.

But...if he did say he was a Christian, I still wouldn't know for sure if he is. That's not up to me.

There's many people who believe they are, but actually aren't. Again, I wouldn't know for sure who is or isn't.

You're wanting something from me I won't pretend I know the answer, however there are plenty of people who do claim to know the truth.

I know this is disappointing for you but I won't go that route. I can't....sorry you don't understand. It is impossible for me to say for certain.
