God would not want you dependent on the government and beholden to anyone or anything but Him.

The government may be a vessel God uses but it is not the source.

Where does your faith lie? With the government, or with Him?

This has nothing to do with politics.

Constantly repeating the shooter's name and story can give mentally unstable kids the wrong kind of incentive.

People imitate what they see, and in a confused mind, that kind of attention can look like notoriety worth pursuing.

That isn't political. It's behavioral.

Why must we turn this day into a day to be remembered?

When we remember the victims, we also immortalize the shooter.

That might sound appealing to some kid looking for notoriety.

Gaming does the same thing. Both are built around dopamine production in the brain and random reinforcement schedules which are the most powerful habits to break.

Regular, predictable reinforcement schedules are easier to break.
