He's made a career out of this based on his information.

This was a high end dept store where it is common for sales people to get paid commission on top of a base salary.

Did your friend tell you that?

I'd be surprised he wasn't getting watched considering he was rich and famous and likely to spend big money.

But he road the escalator up and the floor had no one there.

I'd venture to guess the story has evolved since then.

I am pointing out that men who are rich and famous should probably start having women sign wavers before they start seducing her if they have any sense.

The detail that immediately damaged her credibility with me many years ago when first read about this was her claim that they reached the lingerie floor of a major department store and "no one is present."

No shoppers. No employees. No sales attendant. No witnesses.

That does not prove nothing happened, but when an accusation is made more than twenty years later, with no definite date and no contemporaneous evidence, such remarkably convenient circumstances should invite skepticism and not unquestioning acceptance.

And when the man involved is rich and famous, that does not make her account look any more credible.

I knew virtually nothing about Trump when I first read the story. I had no feelings about Trump and also no hatred of him influencing my reaction.

I simply found her account difficult to believe and I still do.
