Because Trump wanted to cause a recession and personally profit from the stock swings. All at the expense of other stock investors as well as anyone relying on a strong economy for their employment.

This is Trump flunkies crashing the market so that they can reap the inevitable rebound. Much like the tariff threats, it's all market manipulation. Get used to it.

It's as clear as day that crashing the market was always Trump's intention.

From attacking our allies (Canada, of all nations? WTF?!) to undermining the defense industry, to laying off tens of thousands of federal workers. Anyone who doesn't see that is probably too busy doubling down on their Trump coins.

This doesn't mean touch screens are set to disappear on new Volkswagens, just that drivers will now have the option of physical controls for their most used day-to-day tasks.
