Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is medically diagnosed. There's no single test, it's a real process, and requires the involvement of a physician. Unfortunately, the term has become a catchall, much like ADHD. Please note, I'm NOT saying either are bogus; both are quite real. But when a medical diagnosis is required, that means it's required.
