If it were up to me, I wouldn't have allowed the postmark rule in the first place with mail-in ballots. People who mail-in can recognize the importance of the delay in mailing it in and just get their ballots in the mail before election day. Spare me the constitutionality of voting rights. Mail in votes should be in by election day. we're already giving a grace period which is fine but the USPS is cutting where they can and that includes not postmarking ballots the day they are in their possession.

Yes, the hypocrisy of Trumpers who ignore similar crimes (if not much worse) is telling but hardly necessary to use as a deflection for what's being discovered in Minnesota.

I wouldn't stop mail in voting because I agree the lack of fraud is a good enough reason to keep it going.

I don't disagree with your points but my question is about the reality of what it (mandate) accomplished. I'm sure your anecdotal evidence is accurate but how close were we to a 0% uninsured rate?

It was effectively eliminated 9 years after ACA was passed. At that point, how many people were paying the penalty? Or better yet, how many was it estimated to be purchasing health insurance to avoid being penalized?
