Where they have the Rosgvardiya available 24x7 anti-terror/demonstration forces on standby. They show up to protests within minutes. It took over an hour for the very first responders to show up and an hour and a half for Rosgvardiya.

This is so false flag it isn't funny. I am not even sure ISIS carried it out. I mean are you kidding me? If they really were ISIS on a suicide mission, these guys wouldn't have surrendered to the police. They would have shot it out and committed some form of suicide by police.

We had a revolt against the Robber Barons. It resulted in a lot of great legislation. Over the past 40 years virtually all that legislation has been undone or lost it's teeth. This is exactly what those people want. I honestly don't know what it will take for people to wake up. The way things are rolling these folks have moved into Venture Capital and more so Private Equity buying up good businesses left and right both massive and small local operations. I see this going on in various sectors across the US. People who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.

You would think that the fact all the things they have been targeting were fed to them literally by Putin has been made absolutely public would give them pause. Embarrass them even. Put them in such a spot they would call for action AGAINST Russia.

But no. Lie, Repeat Lie and Repeat Lie embeds the idea in their base. That's really what they care about. Talk about it as if it were the truth and people will start to believe it is true. It is truly despicable. When Hillary called them Deplorables it was too kind.

Sorry Bill but get real. I am not a fanboi by any means but Apple is exceptional in many ways. After thinking about it maybe I am something of a convert.

First, having come from the era you refer to. I had used Apple, IBM, TSR, etc. Back then they were all about the same. It was great MARKETING selling Macs to schools at big discounts. This is also a strategy MS used with Office to replace all the standalone products of the time - you know Word Perfect, Lotus 123, etc. This I think lead to Graphics people to and software makers like Adobe and others like Aldus to use them. Also even back in the early 90s - Apples just worked. I was using Windows PCs at the time because I could save money and still manage most of what they could do for publishing.

When it comes to Video and Rendering, people have gone back to them from others because SGI has gone away as well as anyone else in the space. And having run and maintained SGI, Sun and others - they were PLAGUED by issues. I remember the E100000 fiasco I had to work on - replacing all those CPUs due to their floating issues.

Second, they were the ones that developed Windows, which was stolen by MS...

Third, Quality of their products. Already been said. Nobody IMHO makes a better quality anything they make. I buy Apple and other laptops - even high end Windows Laptops are just inferior.

Fourth when you talk phones and tablets, I wouldn't consider another. SECURITY. RELIABILITY. USABILITY. The security of their platform overall is unrivaled. Guess what phone everyone I know of in IT security carries and won't consider another? Also my understanding is NSA types won't consider something else. I have used and still have to use various Android phones occasionally. There are some nice quality builds.

Fifth, interoperability between their products is simply amazing. Sure they don't work as smoothly with other environments. That's a drawback to crossing platforms.

I could go on and on but I am sorry but the Feds are simply barking up the wrong tree with this. The "lock in" is one of the best features - safety, security and reliability. Like bringing up the text colors - lol. You know you are using Apple to Apple vs talking to someone on another device. So what? How is this anything to do with "Monopoly"...

They deserved more.

I have to say I agree with you for SOME drugs. However I look at Marijuana. Legal production and sale results in much higher prices than street prices for it. Alcohol moonshine actually cost you more illegally from what I have seen.

But others just no, general legalization should not happen. I won't say existing addicts should not be able to get a safe supply though. And yes there are, for Opioids at least, places like methadone clinics.

The rest of the drugs, they're less harmful than alcohol, so I can't justify prohibiting them since it pushes people to something even worse.

I am really curious how Alcohol is worse, it is certainly far more widely used. It's been the argument of every druggy I have know since college but none of them have ever offered anything of substance for the argument. Bottom line I have seen no evidence drugs such as opioids and Meth are less harmful and quite the opposite, if you think it is true convince me.

Not always a legitimate job, in fact the job could be crime, but you need to work for your habit. Because individuals addicted to drugs and alcohol commit around 50% of all crimes.

My guess would be the addiction gets so bad you fall into crime, after you can't keep your legitimate job.

You would be wrong. Alcohol certainly impacts someone and is indeed addictive - I have known full fledged alcoholics. If you are addicted to alcohol you can still function. But when comparing it to these drugs, we are not talking about weed, it is magnitudes less addictive. When you step up to opiods it is a whole different level of addiction. Meth would be another.

Russia could care less about even Russian orphans. To this day the kids coming out of their orphanages have serious issues due to neglect and abuse. All the Soviet Bloc countries had the same issues. Those out of Russia's orbit have made massive changes to these systems.
