Private Equity Offers $11 Billion for Paramount Pictures

Private equity firm Apollo Global Management has offered $11 billion for Paramount Global's Paramount Pictures film studio, a person with knowledge of the offer said on Wednesday, adding to takeover interest in the media conglomerate.

Market cap $64B. Revenue $32B. P/E under 14.

Whatever they're doing, they are definitely doing it!

If you haven't seen it yet, "The Offer" on Netflix is a really great series about the making of The Godfather and the internal Paramount goings on.

It's worth the time to watch if you're so inclined. "The Offer" reveals some really interesting info too.

If you haven't seen it check it out. Well done and quite interesting. I never knew the back story of the making of The Godfather. Full of mob stuff in the background.

FYI (if you didn't know already): Some of the actors in The Godfather were actual Mob enforcers.
