Turkish defense and aerospace company Baykar on Friday bought troubled Italian plane maker Piaggio Aero. The Italian company, which designs, builds and supports aircraft and aeronautical engines, has been in extraordinary administration since December 2018.

Overall, DEI has been proven to be very positive for business. The results in general within organizational performance are undeniable. One thing DEI provides is new ideas and different view points breaking institutional tunnel vision and other traps. I get it not all DEI hires are a positive for sure but when I look around this organization, most of the non-DEI hires out side of production in the past decade are worse than useless. I hear the same things about non-DEI promotions and hires that I hear about DEI hires and promotions in general. That isn't to say mistakes directly attributable to DEI don't happen but to dismiss DEI is idiotic. The numbers time and again prove it is overall a positive.
