Why does this continue to look more and more like a cover-up?

Maybe because of things like:
- The information that was "redacted" and people were able to access that clearly had no business being redacted.
- The tip to the FBI about Trump's pedo "auctions" that was never investigated and slipped into the release?
- fElon's eager requests for an Island invite that came out?
- How about the image of the web of Musk's associates that the FBI put out that was mostly redacted?
- Then there is all the un-redacted victim information that was posted...
- The volume of released files seems inconsistent with what is supposed to exist?

Either they are criminally inept or it is a cover up - maybe BOTH?

Still don't understand the ICE costumes. Fatigues in the city for "policing", is it just meant to be close to brown shirts?

Sure not nearly every kid who gets the measles will die but some will and some will have lifetime affects. All preventable by a silly little jab. Cruelty is the intent.

This is the key. The President and GOP have shown they are willing to do away with the convictions of those on "their side" whether they are violent criminals or corrupt business people bilking investors or the government for that matter. They just turn the other way. That emboldens the people under them because they think they have the same Teflon armor the President does. They aren't Teflon Dementia Donnie though and I don't think the next GOP president (when there is inevitably one) will be the same cult of personality and therefore not so eager to release the cult.

I have empathy for those not graced with a 3 digit IQ but you don't vote for a moral less side show bob of a crook. Not being intelligent and being stupid are separate things though.

I am going to cautiously say he is right with a major "but" - not totally incapable. Europe is waking up. They are expanding military production capabilities. They do have many weapons superior to the US already and they are quickly developing new ones. They are building manufacturing capabilities. They are working with Ukraine like the US but maybe even more so. It will take time but I believe the EU WILL become an equal. They WILL proliferate nuclear war heads throughout the region. They will build their own ICBMs and the like and everything will be new and the latest tech. Not 1960s and 1970s tech. Where Europe lags and likely will remain lagging is power projection capabilities.

The true defining difference that will remain IMHO is that the US is a militarized society.

How on earth do you define "illegals"? I am sure there are undocumented and violators of their Visas but they don't seem to be going after them. Enough to require thousands of agents sweeping neighborhoods? No. Enough to be willfully violating people's Constitutionally protected freedoms day in and day out? Absolutely not.

I mean we have them breaking in doors on American citizens and dragging them into the street from his nap in his underwear. No legals or illegals living at his home. Only his family of Americans.

We have ICE detaining the documented who are in the middle of having their cases adjudicated - meaning they are here legally and have papers to prove it. Sending them to what are in truth concentration camps as bad or worse than our prisons.

There is a right way to things what is happening in MN and elsewhere is not being done in the right way. Either you are a normal human being or you are a terrorist in what is going on. ICE, DHS and BP are acting as Terrorists.

Look, when in the aftermath of 9/11 our then current border and immigration agency was dismantled and transformed into DHS and ICE came about I said this isn't going to go well. Same for the Patriot Act. Guess what? That thought aged well. The Patriot Act in all its forms has been used and abused. DHS for years have been a failed agency. ICE has now been militarized and is using terrorist tactics and violating constitutional protections. Yes, terrorist. The brain washing runs deep in this organization. I don't know how bad Border Patrol is but likely about the same state.

The whole agency needs to be dismantled and built from the ground up.
- It needs to protect our borders yes, but in a humane way.
- It needs to process immigration and visa, in a timely and humane way.
- Immigration violations and deportations are going to result in enforcement, again they need to be dealt with in a fair and humane way.

Sure there are "bad guys" crossing the border. Even Israel prior to the war couldn't stop that in Gaza which is tiny and totally militarized. And sure they need to be dealt with.

What we have going on is not dealing with "bad guys" but rather somewhat random sweeps of where ever documented individuals and even Americans are residing. We know they are residing there how? Oh, ya - they are documented. You have people who are here legally and documented according to our laws being treated like they are terrorist and criminals. Young Children are being separated from parents and sent to what are effectively concentration camps themselves. Prisoners in these camps are being effectively tortured and indeed even murdered. Virtually none of these people are criminals. They are being denied due process and treated like hardened criminals. The thugs in fatigues are detaining Americans as well. They are even sending them out of the country. Really, who are the bad guys here? Who are the terrorists? Bovino has been the thug in charge of these operations in Minnesota. Two murders of citizens on his watch. HE deserves prison.

ABOLISH DHS. ABOLISH ICE. They are failed organizations that do not measure up to America's beliefs and standards.

Hawaii's position is supported by the MAGA created new (ridiculous) requirements under Bruen.
Under Bruen, for a gun law to be legal, it must align with our "historical tradition of firearm regulation."
And there is ample historical precedent of guns being banned from establishments.

A couple of my truly good life long friends use right wing media and they have a lot of right wing friends and are in the social media echo chamber. They spout lies and they don't want to listen until you hit them with a hard fact and that only temporarily puts them off keel. It's brainwashing.

Prime example and frustrating conversation from prior to Pretti's execution: I was talking about Minnesota with one of them. And he was spouting all the right wing nonsense about Good. "She was a paid protestor from Colorado, what was she doing there? How can she afford to be there is she isn't being paid?" I then just went and got into that with him. I hit him with his information was all lies. First She was originally from Colorado but lived in that neighborhood. I then said she just dropped her kids off at school, it was basically outside her house and so on. "I didn't know all that." Well no ---- you didn't because you are in the information cesspool. Then as soon as he digests that "She still drove at him. I know what it's like to have to make split second decisions." And I said a "normal person" in a volatile situation and not a mouth breathing cromagnon would have got out of the way. He could see her moving, he could see her turning the wheel and he could see her shifting while looking at the moron she was talking to. And to top it all of a Trained Law Enforcement Officer wouldn't have been there in the first place - not even a well trained one, just a trained one. He didn't like that for some reason.

Then yesterday I am talking on the phone with someone else I knew was brainwashed but I hear his radio in the background talking about how 80% of Somalis are autistic. I mean where do they get this stuff? Why would anyone even listen to such obvious BS?

Sadly I am waiting for that day. I mean busting down the doors of CITIZENS and hauling them out in basically their underwear and crocs into the Minnesota snow and winter? (-2 windchill). Someone will unload on them sooner or later and it will be a sad day.

Well at least they didn't literally put a gun to his head and execute him as drove by like they did to Renee Good. (Yes, the murder shot on Renee Good was fired into the left Temple from the side at close range when she was not a threat at all.)

Would these "administrative" warrants hold up before the supreme court? Even THIS SCOTUS? I don't think even THIS SCOTUS would be willing to go that far.

I mean their memo says one thing but their training even talks about what could be 4th Amendment violations and the need for Judicial Warrants.
