Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

A combat veteran writes about what is ICE's mission in Minnesota. "If the Minneapolis Police Department didn't kill anyone in a year of active policing, and my combat unit didn't kill anyone in over a year of war, Minnesotans are right to ask why ICE and the Border Patrol have killed two people here in two weeks. The answer is uncomfortable but unavoidable. Either this is their mission -- or they are operating outside accountability."

"Executing any mission--law enforcement, military operations, or ICE immigration control--does not excuse abandoning values. Law enforcement and the military have learned that lesson the hard way. It's past time the leadership of ICE did the same."

FTA:

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara stated publicly that, in 2025, the Minneapolis Police Department recovered roughly 900 guns from the street and arrested hundreds of violent offenders " and did not kill a single person.

Let that sit with you.

Answer is both.

This is their mission and they're being allowed to execute it without fear of repercussions or consequences from DoJ or other law enforcement.

When the President is above the Law there is no law.

Only the whims of a Mad (wannabe) King.

We can all thank the Supremes for where we find ourselves today.

This is the key. The President and GOP have shown they are willing to do away with the convictions of those on "their side" whether they are violent criminals or corrupt business people bilking investors or the government for that matter. They just turn the other way. That emboldens the people under them because they think they have the same Teflon armor the President does. They aren't Teflon Dementia Donnie though and I don't think the next GOP president (when there is inevitably one) will be the same cult of personality and therefore not so eager to release the cult.

Remove their masks, require warrants for all apprehensions, mark all their vehicles, have all display their names and rank on their uniforms. Many of these goons will quit, and the rest will change their behavior in a twinkling ...
