One wonders if Trump really would resign, and have his underling, elevated automatically to President, pardon him from any and all crimes past, present and future...and then hello Qatar.

I am not a nuance kind of thinker...after all this time I have come to the place that I see our government as being on the same path as the government under Putin, a path that imprisons and/or kills democratic thinking people. Trump is an enemy to our Constitutional Republic. It is all, or will shortly be, a gangster fascist enterprise. One doubts even one's social security will be protected from being a tool of repression and division.

What rights of privacy to we, as citizens, enjoy in relation to other citizens? Did some research and it seems most of the laws, certainly Constitutional protections are in regard to our protection from governmental intrusions.
One wonders just what a court is going to rule on all this.

Trump is our very own fascist in charge...and history has shown that the one person a fascist cherishes, the one person that all are expected to support and bend a knee to, is the dear leader, not the Constitution.

Propaganda is all that a fascist like Trump understands..he doesn't thrill at a well worded defense of liberty, he thrills at a shrill voice yelling out hate and a willingness to kill for Daddy. Most of the Pentagon's press had to leave when they forced them to either be a propaganda outlet, or leave.

We are led by fascists and fools, thanks to the Republican Party and to MAGA.

One thing you can be sure of, and that is the following prediction...whatever happens to you or me, trump and his gang of goons will not be screwed, they will walk off into the sunset with billions looted from the treasury one way or another.

Problem is, Immigration control and enforcement is a valuable tool, one that all nations employ. Problem is, Trump is using ICE as his brownshirts, trying to turn America into a fascist regime, and in order to empower himself he needs to have chaos on the streets.

At this point, our, as the President of Portugal said, "objectively, Russian asset", is doing what he can to weaken us, divide us one from another, and make sure we are not going to support NATO.

See, MAGA, it is possible to speak your truth to power, to display courage in the face of those who would deprive you of your...well, pretty much everything, since Trump is about destroying the independent voices of the media, and colleges, and businesses.

I really doubt that this old guy will ever respect the Republican Party again, ever. They knew full well who Trump was, what he was doing, but instead of risking their jobs they bent a knee, and kissed anything and everything trump demanded they kiss.

Beyond disgusting...a show of power, the fascist dictator wannabe forcing some people in the arts to bend a knee. He knows how disruptive all this is, he loves hating on intelligent New Yorkers, who hate him.

Courage is always inspirational, and Powell really is a hero. Trump wants what is best for him and his economic gang.

Cuba would be nuts to trust any deal with Trump..he is totally, and I mean totally, in the camp of the Cuban immigrants located in Florida. They won't be satisfied until America runs Cuba no matter the cost of American lives.

American fascism has been looking at American military power for decades, lusting for the dream of worldwide domination and intimidation. When the Republican Party morphed into MAGA, that opened the door to evil itself, in all its Jackbooted glory.

And when and if Trump orders American military to invade a NATO power to steal land and wealth, you will see illegal orders being given, and if followed, American officers at risk for arrest.

You build up an massive military, the largest by far of any nation, or group of nations, you have to expect that sooner or later the fascists, lusting for power and domination, will take over that military and turn it into MAGA on the march, to kill for supremacy and to loot whatever is not nailed down.

Epstein...one wonders if this increasing war mongering from MAGA and Trump is just his way of forcing America to stop looking at the Epstein files. And if you ever want to see what an illegal order, given to American troops looks like, look at the orders when and if Trump orders America to invade and occupy a NATO allied land.
Any officer who follows those orders is liable under military law.

So the rich, as they plunder the land, as Trump takes from the poor and enriches the rich with unsustainable tax cuts, the rich are doing well. They don't hold jobs, they hold inherited wealth..

At this point, any rational, intelligent person understands that we are under the "rule" of an Executive Branch run by a criminal. Nothing he says is trustworthy, nothing he does can be seen as good for the country. It is an accident if he does something that is useful to all, for he is in it for the grift, and he and his family have made billions, billions, on influence peddling alone.
If it looks like he will lose the midterms he will either declare Martial Law and try to stop the elections, or he will resign to let his toy poodle, Vance, pardon him and his gang from anything and everything, whenever.

If the Dems win the House back in the midterms...and Mike Johnson is gone, then hearings can be held.
