The only reason I remember the term is because Justice Kennedy used it in previous cases when he voted against overturning Roe vs Wade.

Can't read the article. The site claims I'm using ad-blocker, even though it's turned off for that site.

"Jay Jones was the candidate for AG who had texts leaked where he joked about opponents and their families being killed."
Oof. Not cool. But it also says a lot about bad voters saw the alternative as.

"The 2nd dumbest poster chimes in defending bigotry with his pedantic crap."
You couldn't answer the question, so you deflect with a nonsensical accusation.

"Even Jay Jones won."
I still have no idea who that even is. The name sounds vaguely like a minor SNL actor who never made it to full cast member, like Robin Mirsky.

It's good that some moderates/centrists are winning, at least with the governorships, but I have to say that her victory speech was pretty cringe. It reminded me a little of a forced, mechanical pep talk given by a high schooler reading something that was hastily written.

"Where is the love? Are you forgetting he was reformed into "Elder Statesman" status when he became anti-Trump?"
It seems everyone is forgetting that, including the Trumpers praising him in this thread.

"Sad that he never was charged with war crimes."
I was never really a fan of his, but c'mon, does anyone really think that a former president would be handcuffed over their response to what happened in 2001? Seems about as feasible as charging over half the country with war crimes. (Recall that over 70% of the public supported the Iraq war when it began.)

"100 times better than "Heels up" Harris, a DEI hire who did NOTHING in the position."
"She did a lousy job, and she didn't really do anything" reminds me of "the food here is awful, and there's so little of it!" complaint.

I remember Carville and Begala were both a couple of sleazy guys when they worked for the Clinton administration. But, to their credit, at least they understood how to win elections, which current Democrats don't seem to have a clue about.

The indictment, which was filed Oct. 23, alleges that Abughazaleh "physically hindered and impeded" an agent who was "forced to drive at an extremely slow rate of speed to avoid injuring any of the conspirators." Abughazaleh was charged alongside five other people, including two other political candidates.
