More than 2 million New York voters cast ballots, the most in a mayoral race since 1969."

Did Trump order a nuclear strike on the city yet?

Always suspicious when a democrat domain has "record turn out".

Listen. Congratulations to Mamdani.
But it's now up to him to do something.
And the entire political, corporate and financial world are against him.

This is why you guys lost, visitor. You can't admit losses and chalk it up to voter fraud. Therefore you don't learn anything.

He already did something.
Rosa Parks isn't remembered for anything she did after December 1st, 1955.

I disagree. Winning the election can't be the whole bag.
The demoralization would defeat all momentum.

It will be very interesting to watch how conditions in NYC change as a result of this election

It isn't about winning the election. It is about the successful repudiation of long-held political beliefs and norms.
Mamdani's winning proves to future American political candidates that taking a firm, conscientious stance against the well-funded and organized machinery of the ruling elite- against all odds- can still result in victory. And that is of far greater value than anything he might accomplish during his term as mayor.
How many other Mamdanis are out there- encouraged by his victory and ready to flip the script in 2026 and beyond?

Former vigilante and current animal rights advocate Curtis Sliwa showed more integrity in his losing campaign than triple-loser Andrew Cuomo who betrayed the Democratic Party of his father for a mere 30 pieces of silver. Or was it $4,712,978?
I wonder how many millions of dollars Michael Bloomberg, AIPAC, and the other Islamophobes wasted on this Benedict Arnold?
So, good riddance to bad garbage. Take George Santos with you when you leave NYC ex-governor Cuomo, as both of you promised.
And kudos to Mr Sliwa who, in one of the debates, denounced the threats against Zohran Mamdani unlike Islamophobe Andrew Cuomo.

^^See people?! This is the fear. They fear that Mamdani's policies will positively impact New Yorkers, spreading the popularity of those policies beyond New York City.
This is what JEFF and his ilk fear.

Pour one out for all the rich Republicans who threatened to leave NYC if Mamdani won. Enjoy Tennessee or Arkansas-- I'm sure it will be very fulfilling and the social life will be totally comparable!
