Our nation was founded upon political differences. It is called political PLURALITY. BUT our politicians and our Republic has more often than not been able to agree upon the basic fundamentals upon which our nation is built; ie, capitalism - NOT socialism or communism, due process - innocent until PROVEN guilty, law and order - NOT choosing to obey certain laws and choosing to disobey other laws, like our immigration law, and legislating / creating laws using compromise to have a majority of bi-partisan agreement.
BUT today President Trump is so hated by the national liberal press corps that the Dems can allege any politically unfounded charge / LIE against him they can dream up with it being challenged ANY news person or media organization, except those in FOX News.
The liberal news networks are truly ONLY the propaganda mouthpiece for the Dems, not journalists seeking the truth. That is their calling!!!
The 2016 election was an earmark for where the nation's political beliefs are. Hillary (66 million votes) and Jill Stein (2 million votes) and Gary Johnson (6 million votes) won about 73 million votes. Trump (63 million votes) and Stein and Johnson won 71 million votes. Hillary got the MOST votes and beat Trump by nearly 3 million votes. BUT, in CA 4 million voters voted for Hillary than Trump. IF CA is removed from the equation, Trump still wins the popular vote in 30 states in the Electoral College AND the popular vote by 1 million votes - 59 million to 58 million for Hillary.
The Dems and the national press has always implied that over half the voters voted for Hillary. That's not true. Nationally 60% of nation's states voters voted against Hillary. AND across the nation, Trump 63 million, Stein 2 million, and Johnson 6 million for a total of 71 million far exceed the 66 million votes Hillary got nationwide. Hillary was nowhere close to winning over half of the popular vote. SHE is not nor was NOT supported by over half the nation as has been lied about.
The point is that if only our news media was more moderate, honest and truthful about our politics than they are today, our nation might be far more civil and less polarized than the media keeps us.
