It looks like it was partially down last night. Some of the links were still usable, such as User Blogs and Write a Blog Entry, but we couldn't stay logged in long enough to comment after previewing.

This reminds me of when I lived in Asia in the late 2000's, and "CNN" became synonymous with photos from a different country to make a point after they used a photo of nuclear sites from Iran in a story about North Korea. Seems like this has been a common lazy practice in journalism for a long time.

Jimmy Carter lived almost 10 years after he was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. I wouldn't count out DB yet. He could serve at least one more term.
