Regardless of who or how many might have considered them "heroes", they were both clear examples of overzealous prosecutions. In the Rittenhouse case, the evidence at trial exposed that the claims against him were just as fraudulent as many of the ones ICE has been caught making against numerous protesters and even non-protesters who get caught up in their raids. In the Zimmerman case, there were doubts about his story, but the prosecution clearly never had the evidence to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.
