Sex crime charges against an Elkins pastor are heading to a grand jury for consideration. A Randolph County magistrate decided Tuesday there's enough evidence to forward the charges against Kevin Curtis Jones, 33, of Elkins. Jones has been in jail since Oct. 2 when he was charged with allegedly using a computer to solicit an underage girl. Authorities said Jones, at that time the pastor at Summit Church, used a phone to seek a "clandestine relationship" with the girl in December 2023, read more

When good famous people die, people quote them a lot.
I don't hear anyone quoting Charlie Kirk. I wonder why that is?

Why are you MAGA Nazi Pedophiles such big liars?
At my age I've seen a drastic change in society from my youth to now.
One thing I hear over and over is "work ethic".
I expect sociologists could tell you all sorts of explanations for the change.
But simply put, people in America today are taught to stick their hand out expecting soneone to give them sonething for nothing, instead of looking for work.
Thats a great generalization but there's truth to it.
A lot of it depends on if you were raised by liberals or conservatives.

You can always tell who never went to college...or graduated high school.
Sociologists will tell you that you are an idiot. This "work ethic" stuff is literally what EVERY generation says about the younger generation and it goes back THOUSANDS of years.
No, Bill, the younger generation hasn't changed. You're just a whiny boomer.
What has changed? The price of everything compared to wages.
50 years ago, you could pay for an entire year of college on a summer job.
40 years ago, it was NORMAL for someone with a high school diploma to afford a home and family of 4 on just their salary.
30 years ago, the price of health insurance was an afterthought in your paycheck.
20 years ago, we were more worried about kids eating junk food than we were about being able to afford to get groceries at all.
You call it hand outs because you are too damn self centered to realize how good you had it.
